Jacqui’s Easy Coasters Crochet Pattern

Jacqui’s Easy Coasters Crochet Pattern, is such an easy pattern with simple written directions for those who crochet a lot and a full photo tutorial for those who are new to crochet.

A really good way of using up scraps of 4ply sock yarn! This is a really easy crochet pattern suitable for beginners as I’ve added lots of photographs to help. The 4ply sock yarn is held doubled throughout.

Each coaster measures 11cm diameter and weighs approx 6g.

Pattern designed by our friend bluesocks (a very talented lady) for Woolly Madly Deeply.

An easy pattern with helpful photographs, suitable for beginners at crochet. These simple crochet coasters are worked in one piece and include both the long and short version of the pattern (long for beginners and short for experienced crocheters).

The sock yarn is used double stranded thoughout, or use a bulky yarn if you prefer. We used scraps of colours, it uses very little so we haven’t added yardage to the pattern and you can change colour easily as you go along should you need to.

A few people have used linen and cotton yarns to make these as face scrubbies for exfoliating their skin. Drops Belle would be a good choice

Abbreviations: ch chain ss slip stitch tr treble
UK crochet terms used.

If you used an Linen or Hemp yarn, they’d make great face scrubbies for removing make up and exfoliating the skin.

You can also buy the pattern in our Ravelry store and payhip store
